Our West Michigan Communities

Glow by Tanabeth is such a special place! I love getting there whenever I can to enjoy a class, clear my mind, and reconnect with myself. It feels like a little community within our community, where everyone is welcomed and you instantly feel at home. Glow truly fostered my love for yoga, and I’m so grateful to have a place like this right here in our community.

For me, I would like the trail system around Greenville and beyond.  The Fred Meijer Flat River Trail system allows you to do an 8 mile loop around the city of Greenville or make connections to the Heartland Trail to go up to Alma or down to Lowell.  Whether you bike or hike this trail system offers a scenic route of our area.  It also plays as part of local races and competitions throughout the year.  Stop into the Chamber to get a map of the trail system.

Wabasis Lake Park is my go-to spot for all around outdoor recreation. There are several family-friendly activities that fit our lifestyle. The pavilion area includes a playground set, basketball hoops, open fields, and a baseball diamond so have plenty of options for sports to play. There are many scenic trails for us to walk and explore the woods. It's perfect in the fall to see all of the leaves changing colors! It's a great place to get your steps in or walk your dog. In addition to the trails, there are many open and enclosed shelters. Picnic areas and grills are available in many different areas of the park and parking is plentiful. My favorite part is the 400 acre lake! There's a sandy beach area with over 1 mile of shoreline for public access. Swimming, fishing, and boating are available - with boat rentals. A beach volleyball area is available along with 3 other playground areas. A 4 lane boat launch available to the public and the fishing is great here! Lastly, while I'm not a huge fan of winter, there's a great sledding hill for my kids. If I'm going to be cold - it's better to have a lake view.

I love the football field because it’s more than just a game.  It’s where hard work, teamwork, friendships, and memories are made. There’s nothing better than watching my boys do what they love, cheering them on from the sidelines, and being their biggest fan every step of the way. These are the moments I’ll cherish forever! The football field has always held a special place in my heart. It represents teamwork, dedication, community, and the unforgettable memories made both on and off the field. It’s a place where hard work meets passion and where lifelong friendships are built.
